7:06 PM - Betrayal, and some information on the Homecoming
I've got a rather long message for certain folks, but before I get to it, here's some information.
The DPS Alumni Homecoming is scheduled to be held on November 19, for those of you who haven't heard. I lost the original message, but I think there's a fee for some Alumni ID thing and other stuff. I think it was something around P150. It will most likely be held at the DPS gym, since the grayheads running the school are cheap bastards (But you didn't need me to tell you that. Anyone who's spent even half a year there knows that.).
Now, where was I? Oh yeah, the message. Here goes.

[This is the first, and probably the only thing I'll post simultaneously on the LKS site, Friendster, the LKS eGroup and my own site.]
So now, after half a year, the pieces of the puzzle finally fall into place. The betrayal I suspected for months, ever since I heard those two names uttered in hushed conspiratorial tones, has been confirmed.
I'm not going to pretend that I pieced together miniscule clues to find the exact time, manner and other details of the deed, like that soldier who observed tiny oddities in the day-to-day operation of his company's basecamp and put the fragments together to figure out there was an upcoming operation, which shocked his superiors when he asked them about it.
I came pretty close, though. I picked up hints of what happened, how it happened and who were involved, though the information was sketchy at best. Strong suspicions followed a series of probing questions in a phone call concerning the reunion, but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions at the time. It was painfully obvious what had happened, but I guess I shut it out to concentrate on other things. Besides, I've made too many mistakes with inaccurate information. But a few days ago, my fears were confirmed.
Nice work, buddy. Real smooth. And to think I trusted and believed you when you told me you'd help me out with her. I even refused to believe the rumors until more tongues slipped and people started dropping hints. Bah. Estis servatus etsi estis obscenus.
As for the others involved, I'm disappointed. I'm beginning to wonder how far I can really trust you. Your reluctance to at the very least give me leads on what happened may be efforts to protect me from more pain, but they may also be construed as attempts to protect that traitorous worm from retribution.
Funny how people would protect someone who backstabbed another person, the victim being someone who's been relatively straightforward with them, and always respected their personal space, privacy, and rights.
What am I going to do now? I don't know, but it sure won't be sitting on my hands crying. The days of the Prankoysian Random [whiny] Thoughts are long past.
To the scant few who helped me out with scraps on information, no matter how minor the scraps were, thank you. I appreciate it. I mean that. I think I know which people I can trust with my life now.
And you others, think about what you've done. Think very hard on that decision you made to keep your silence, insulating that perverted traitorous scumbag from early discovery.
To the folks who actually went and confirmed the whole thing, many thanks. It hurt, but what the hell. I've wanted to ask you guys about it ever since the first rumor popped up, but I figured I didn't need the extra stress.
I am well aware it was a very minor incident, and that I have no real right to complain, as she never was my girlfriend. However, there's the fact that a person I once called "friend" who even promised to help me with her just threw away the trust I had in him and treated like trash what I treated with the utmost of respect... Now that just makes my blood boil.
