It's been a long time since the last one, but here it is. It's approximately 100kb, three times the size of any previous WConv. I'll compress it into a ZIP file if anyone has problems loading the entire thing. Click on the link below or find it in the features section.
Never again am I doing work that requires serious concentration. At least not late at night. While updating some profiles, I discovered that some of the profiles had MY name scrawled all over them (I used my own profile as a base since I answered all the questions and just delete those questions which were left unanswered by some folks.). This oversight has been rectified.
Read the title. I didn't have anything to do late last night, so I went and finished the whole thing. Right now, it's HUGE compared to the other galleries. 50 images, 5MB total. I'll probably have to delete around 20 of them in the future (pretty soon, I think) to make space for other galleries. For now, it'll stay at 50 images.
I've also changed the whole gallery format. Instead of the entire gallery slapped on one page, ten thumbnails are displayed on each page. Should be much easier on people with dial-up connections (like me).
I had some problems uploading the images, so there may be errors. I've gone through the galleries to check for any misuploads, but given my track record of screwing things up even after multiple checks, it is possible there may still be errors in links and images.
Click here to access the new field trip gallery, or on the yellow gallery button up there to check on the other image collections.
I've got about 1/3 of the field trip pictures ready to be uploaded. I won't upload everything immediately after I finish preparing them for posting. As of now, the total size of the gallery is around 3MB. Too big. I'll weed out the pictures that aren't very significant to keep the size around 1 1/2 or 2 megs. We only have 10MB of space left here.
Expect the gallery on Friday or so. I've got a Chemistry quiz tomorrow, and a Chemistry post-laboratory report to be passed on Friday, so I won't be doing much work on the site until I finish dealing with both of those.
Oh yeah, we hit the 2000 hit mark today. Screenshot below (Mashed down to 640x480 from its original resolution of 1024x768 without any fancy Photoshop tricks because I'm in a hurry. It may be a bit blurry.)
To tell you guys the truth, I never thought this site would reach 1000, let alone 2000. Guess I was wrong.
I've uploaded the class pictures, and replaced the text links in the older galleries with thumbnails. You can click on the yellow "galleries" button up there, or click here if you're too lazy to move your hand up there.
No doubt I made some errors, so if you find one, please place something in the comments for this newspost, in the forums, or in the guestbook. Thank you.
The Banahaw classpic, as with almost all the classpics from that time, had some stuff scribbled on it. I tried to remove them, but I'm not too good at retouching images. See if you can find the places which had vandalisms on them.
